Climate Information Portal (CIP)

The Climate Information Portal (CIP) is a web interface operated by the Climate System Analysis Group (CSAG), at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. The portal integrates climate information into a user-friendly map-and-graph-based interface for Africa and Asia. CIP ­focuses on the information exploration rather than simple data delivery. That is, CSAG attempts to go beyond simple data dissemination by incorporating tailored guidance information and thereby enabling informed decision-making.
