The Ouranos Consortium aims to develop and acquire knowledge on regional climatology and the impacts of climate change in order to advise decision-makers and end-users on the best adaptation strategies and measures. To support engineers in their efforts to adapt the built environment to climate change, the organization started a pilot project publishing technical fact sheets summarizing climate indicators relevant to infrastructure in Québec in the recent past and future. The purpose of these factsheets is to provide a summary of available climatic information and present it in a format suitable for an engineering audience. The information includes observations as well as model results, covering seven climatic indicators in two regions of Québec.
