The Health Risk Management in a Changing Climate project aims to improve the use of early warning information by implementing community-level health interventions in selected communities throughout the Tanga region of Tanzania. More specifically, the project aims to decrease the risk of malaria and diarrheal disease for about 90,000 beneficiaries in the region, and to improve the capacity of the Tanga branch of the Tanzanian Red Cross to understand and communicate the connection between climate change and health.
