Chris Hewitt is Head of International Climate Services at the UK Met Office and Professor of Climate Science in the Centre for Applied Climate Science at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. Chris has over 10 years of experience working in the field of climate services, having previously been a research scientist for over 10 years. He has had a major involvement in developing the Global Framework for Climate Services with the WMO and partners around the world, is one of the founding members of the Climate Services Partnership and has been involved in organising all of the ICCSs.
