We compiled some guidelines for presenting authors of the ICCS5. Please find below details on presentation formats, duration of talks and Market Place facilities.
Oral presentations
Parallel sessions are scheduled to 90 minutes, with 5 oral presentations each. Talks are thus limited to 15 minutes: 10 minutes presentation, 3 minutes for questions. Time limits will be followed strictly, in order to give equal chances to every speaker. Please upload your presentation to the laptop in the respective room during the coffee break prior to the session, preferably in ppt or PDF format – allocated rooms will be announced shortly.
Posters
Posters have to be printed in A0 portrait format. There are no printing facilities available on site, so please bring you poster readily printed. Posters will be presented during poster sessions assigned to the individual parallel sessions. In order to offer a larger stage also to poster presenters, there will be poster teazers in the respective sessions. These will be one minute short for each poster, using a one-slide template. Poster sessions will take place during lunch breaks on the subsequent day of the respective parallel session.
Market Place
Contributions for the Market Place may e.g. be in poster format, or as a short presentation on a laptop, or providing print outs or flyers as basis and trigger for discussion. Please inform us on your specific needs, e.g. poster stand or power supply, via
